The winner of the 2009 In Celebration of the Muse Chapbook Award was Bernice Rendrick for her collection of poems, Trainsong. The winner of the 2008 In Celebration of the Muse Chapbook Award was Kathleen Flowers for
her collection of poems, Call It Gladness.
The 2013 In Celebration of the Muse Chapbook Award will be given to a five-year or longer Santa Cruz County resident, who read in the 2012 In Celebration of the Muse reading, and who has not published a full-length book of poetry, prose poems, or prose short shorts. Manuscripts will be accepted between June 1st and June 30th, 2012. They should be 24 to 26 pages in length: poetry, prose poems, or prose short shorts.
