What exactly IS duplicate solitaire?
..Solitaire, in all its many forms, has always been subject to the "luck of the shuffle." If the cards are against you, its generally
impossible to win, regardless of your skill level. Duplicate solitaire virtually eliminates the element of luck by having competing players play the same hands and providing an equitable scoring mechanism.
..The Klondike Pro scoring system stresses winning the hand by awarding 10 points for cards played to the ace row and assessing a "flop charge" which increases with each pass.
..After the hand is over (won or given up), it is played by nine "house" players, each utilizing different tactics to provide a unique challenge. Six such hands are summed for a match score. Placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd win nuggets toward a rank promotion. Players can rise from Green Rookie to the exhaulted rank of Gold Wizard.
