Loch Lomond
Junior Ranger Membership

Welcome Kids!

A note to your parents:

The Loch Lomond Junior Ranger Program is designed for your school aged children up to the age of 14).  We encourage parents to participate in our programs with your young children, and all Junior Rangers must have a parent or guardian present in the park during Junior Ranger activities.

The Junior Ranger program is an outdoor watershed and recreation/education program. Our goal is to heighten your child's awareness of nature, conversation and preservation of the water resources and the watershed ecosystem at Loch Lomond (and beyond). These goals will be accomplished through student observation, Ranger lead talks and hikes, hands-on activities, projects, community service, web-based information/activities and award opportunities. This program is being offered by the Santa Cruz Water Dept.  to the Santa Cruz water community and surrounding communities at no or low cost.
