Alice Jones is the author of four collections of poems, Plunge (Apogee Press, 2012), Gorgeous Mourning (Apogee Press. 2004), Extreme Directions (The 54 moves of Tai Chi Sword) (Omnidawn, 2002), and The Knot (Alice James Books, 1992), winner of the Beatrice Hawley Award. Her chapbooks are Anatomy (Bullnettle Press, 1992) and Isthmus (Alice James Books, 2000).

Her awards include fellowships from the Bread Loaf Writers Conference and the National Endowment for the Arts, the First Annual Narrative Magazine Poetry Prize, and the Robert H. Winner and Lyric Poetry Awards from the Poetry Society of America. After practicing Internal Medicine for some years, she now practices psychoanalysis in Berkeley and is a supervising and training analyst at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.

Brad Crenshaw received both his MFA and PhD in English from the University of California, Irvine. He later obtained a second PhD in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts, where he teaches neuropsychological assessment in the graduate psychology program. For many years he worked as a neuropsychologist in a New England medical center. His poems and critical articles have appeared in various magazines, including Chicago Review, Parnassus, Massachusetts Review, Shenandoah, The Formalist, The Sandhills Review, Illinois Quarterly, and Faultline. He lives in Amherst, Massachusetts, and part of the year in Santa Cruz. My Gargantuan Desire (Greenhouse Review Press, 2010) is his first book of poetry. He has also published two chapbooks: Propagandas (Kattywompus Press, 2012) and Limits of Resurrection (Greenhouse Review Press, 1982).
