James Scully
is the author of 11 collections of poems, three books of translations, and two books of prose. His most recent
collection is Donatellos Version from Curbstone Press in 2007. Curbstone Press also republished his
out-of-print book of essays, Line Break: Poetry as Social Practice, in 2005. He is an emeritus professor
from the University of Connecticut and has received the Lamont Poetry Award and fellowships from the NEA,
the Ingram Merrill Foundation and a Guggenheim Fellowship. Adrienne Rich says of Donatellos Version,

Adrienne Rich
has published 24 books of poems and seven books of nonfiction prose. Her most recent are Telephone Ringing in the Labyrinth (W.W. Norton, 2007)
and A Human Eye: Essays on Art in Society (W.W. Norton, 2009). She has been awarded a Medal for Distinguished Contribution
to American Letters by the National Book Foundation, the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Bollingen Prize for Poetry,
Lannan Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award, Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize, the Common Wealth Award in Literature, the National Book Award,
the 1996 Tanning Award for Mastery in the Art of Poetry, the MacArthur Fellowship and the Yale Younger Poets Prize.
