...Monday Morning Muse..

Niners find a way to lose again, as they hang on just long enough to make you think they have a chance then fall by ten points to the Rams...Raiders barely hang on to beat the Chargers, the 0-8 Chargers whom they have beaten in 2 games by a grand total of 5 points!!...Pupster cheezes his way to a loss to Blues Bros., leaving Yankakowski and his 232 points on the bench making the record now South 9 North 8 with Mayor vs. NoRag as this weeks contest... If NoRag hangs on to beat Spuds, that further clouds the playoff picture in the South, as Spuds would have a one game lead over Pumper, Pup and NoRag with only Pecker looking to be out of it at this time...In the North it seems that Skinny, Blues Bros. and Trout are locking in to the playoff positions there, as points losers Hoops&Son and Mayor continue their losing ways..Skinny wins the vote to allow his roster changes for last week, then proves his lameability by starting M. Anderson (who has the word BYE after his name on the checkoff list) this week...and he still beats me, though it had to be bittersweet to be up there secretly cheering everytime that freakin' Faulk scored another TD...hmm, a little sour grapes there?...Mayor has B. Johnson and E. George going tonight, Spuds has S. Davis, Pumper has Connell and NoRag have Skins D and Thigpen (Questionable)...Putting my MNF unbeaten streak on the line (7-0-1) it says here to bet the farm on the Skins to cover the 3 points tonight...

...Hindsight is ALWAYS 20-20...

Oh well, there goes the perfect record, as the Titans luck out and score 10 points in the last few seconds of the first half last night to take the game right away from the Skins...Titans are for real and Eddie George is a STUD...Congrats to the Blues Bros., as they garner their FIRST weekly win and get off the schneid, and Skinny becomes the team with the longest drought, 19 weeks without a weekly win...Don't worry Pup, you still own the all-time record for futility, as BB's 42 weeks come no where near your 70 weeks...Pecker is in danger of being the first team out of the playoff picture, as he is 3 games out of a spot with 4 weeks to play, he could be eliminated as early as this week as he matches up with the Pupster...Hoops&Son need a win vs. the Blues Bros. this week to remain in contention also...the points race is extremely tight as one good week is all that separates 8th (Blues Bros.) from 2nd place (Pup)...Jacksonville is the only team on the bye this week...HAPPY HALLOWEEN
