Week 1

...Monday Morning Muse....

Down go the Niners, another loss to a winning team out of division, looks like it could be a long season...Nice day at the draft, as things went smoothly with the draft and the feast...Looking forward to another full scholarship next year, Southies...Preliminary scores are now posted prior to MNF, so go ahead and check em out...there is a breakdown of scoring to compare, and this being our first week everyone should make sure the scoring rules are implemented correctly in their games ...Testaverde joins the long list of top ten draft picks going down in the beginning of a season, good thing NoRag has Brad Johnson backing up...Eight defensive scores before the night games even begin WOW!!!...Herman Moore is out for 3-4 weeks also, and Chandler left the game with a hammy, Ricky Williams hurt ankle, Favre hurt thumb..check those injury reports closely...

Hindsight is always 20-20

Broncos lose to Fins, as Terrell is stuffed by Johnsons "D" once again...Martin adds element of speed to stretch defenses and makes Marino that much better...even Karim looked good...Congrats to the Pumper for winning the first week of 1999 with his 695 points...kinda cheezy week, as Phil, Hoops, Trout and Pecker all left around 500 points on their bench..I will have to make the cheeze report manually, as it is not available from the program..look for it later this week..also the total points ranking...Spuds edges out the PhilZone for the first interdivisional win even without any points from T.D. last night...Monday night rule would have worked out with Karim going in for the score, oh well...be sure and check your scores carefully and report any discrepancies to the commish...there is a scoring breakdown and an NFL boxscore available from the standings page...
