M onterey Bay Fiction Writers (Chapter No. 92) is affiliated with Romance Writers of America, headquartered in Houston, Texas.   RWA is a non-profit professional and educational association of romance writers and other publishing industry professionals.

Founded in 1988, Monterey Bay Fiction Writers is helping members in their writing field; providing support for writers within the romance genre; and committed to promoting excellence in romantic fiction.

Monterey Bay is located 70 miles south of San Francisco and 35 miles from San Jose. The area includes the coastal towns between Santa Cruz on the north and Carmel on the south.
