"My images reflect what my eyes are always drawn to: texture and color, light and movement. For me, the camera is an amazing tool to record and refine what is seen and, sometimes, to capture the unseen. Most of my current work is digital. I love the instant gratification of being able to immediately see the images I've recorded (this gives feedback in the moment and therefore the ability to respond to that feedback) as well as the flexibility in editing and augmentation that the digital format gives. For the most part, the changes I make to images are very minimal, and sometimes there are no changes at all. I prefer to use the technology to enhance rather than recreate." |
