How to stop Automatic Uppercasing at the start of a Line in MS-Word.

  1. Open an MS-Word document.
  2. Look for the bar at the top, with 'File Edit View Insert Format Tools ...'
  3. Click on Tools. You get a menu. One of the items is 'Autocorrect'.
  4. Click on 'Autocorrect' and you get a new small window with lots of boxes to check. Uncheck the box that says 'capitalize first letter of sentences'.
  5. Click OK.
